Install What The FRCA on your device
What The FRCA works in any browser, but you can also install it to your device so it opens from your home screen or desktop and runs in its own window, just like a normal app. It’s the quickest way to get back to your revision, and it keeps the app one tap away.
The easiest way to install is straight from the login screen: when you open What The FRCA, you’ll see an install prompt tailored to your device with the exact steps to follow. You can also find instructions specific to your device and browser below.
iPhone & iPad
Safari
1. Tap the … menu in the bottom-right, then tap Share.
2. Tap View More.
3. Tap Add to Home Screen.
What The FRCA will appear on your home screen like any other app.
iPhone & iPad
Chrome
1. Tap the Share icon in the top-right corner.
2. Tap View More.
3. Tap Add to Home Screen.
Android
Chrome
When you open What The FRCA in Chrome, you may see an Install app button—just tap it to install. If you don’t see the button, install it manually:
1. Tap the ⋮ menu in the top-right corner of Chrome.
2. Tap Add to Home screen.
3. Tap Add to confirm.

Windows & Mac
Chrome or Edge
When you open What The FRCA, you may see an Install app button—click it to install. You can also click the install icon in your browser’s address bar (towards the right-hand end). The app will open in its own window and you can pin it to your taskbar or Dock.
Mac
Safari
1. In the menu bar, click File.
2. Click Add to Dock…
3. Click Add to confirm.
What The FRCA will be added to your Dock so you can open it like any other app.
Don’t see your browser?
Installing works best in Chrome or Edge on desktop or Android, and in Safari on iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
If you’re using another browser, you can still use What The FRCA in the browser as normal – just bookmark the page so it’s easy to find. On most desktop browsers you can bookmark with Ctrl + D (Windows) or ⌘ Cmd + D (Mac).
The install option isn’t showing
If you can’t see an install prompt or button, make sure your browser is up to date and that you’re using one of the supported browsers above.
